After months of debating with myself on buying WWE 2K20 I finally caved and bought the base game with no add-ons. Mostly when I play these games I play for the Universe Mode and it’s not that good it’s average at best. I mean I think it’s great that there are 4 rivalry slots instead of three, you can add three shows to PPVs and you can put as many matches as you want for each card but that doesn’t change the fact that the game messes up frequently that I’m running out of chances to give this game. First off for some odd reason every time I finish a show and move on to the next it automatically saves which is good but when I’m working on the second show and I finish it for some reason it shoots me back to the previous show that I just finished like ten minutes ago. This has happened to me a lot and it’s one of the big reasons that’s turning me off the game out of frustration. Secondly I have run into some game breaking glitches in Universe mode like for instance when I play a match and a cutscene plays where the two superstars interact with each other and when the scene ends and the match starts only one superstar is in the ring with the ref and the game is just stuck. This game is unplayable to me and I have played the other modes like 2K Showcase and it was good I did encounter two glitches which made me reset my console and the game crashed on me once so it’s best to rent the game if you get the chance DON’T BUY!! It’s a waste of money even if it’s on sale just rent it first if you want to try it. On the good side the controls are similar to 2K19 and the other WWE 2K games and it only took me a couple days to remember the buttons, the presentation is nice and the roster is excellent. I do wish that the game had a future stars pack instead of this 2K Originals stuff but it’s whatever. Graphics are not that good but I think the game lighting saves it just a little, commentary is still commentary very robotic and annoying and my career has a good story but I think the acting doesn’t feel right. Anyway that’s pretty much what I have to say about WWE 2K20
