Weird creepy boring movie. Every character but the dad (and maybe Nicole Kidman) is unlikeable. You think it’s going to end one way but it just doesn’t resolve, and it doesn’t even make sense. No climax, no real plot. All I feel after watching this is confusion.

This movie was very good!! The main character was flawed, but still very likable. The atmosphere of the movie was eerie and great, and I loved how it took on more of a mystery thriller vibe than an actual horror movie. For reference, my mom who doesn’t do horror movies AT ALL really liked this movie. I can’t handle horror most of the time, but the downtown abbey manor vibe intrigued me while looking at this at my local family video. This movie was great!!! Very much worth seeing! Some of the parts are actual quite funny. MY RATING: 8:5/10. 👍🏻
