Loyal or not so loyal fans read in full. This show is as shallow as it gets but sadly in many ways realistic in someways. Ignore the reviews attempting to deflect any liability towards things being unrealistic because these episodes, all painfully repetitive, are more or less a fair reflection to plenty of girls these days hence a lot of comments are from rather aspiring girls and the truthful and negative ones are from some girl that have admitted to what is bad. The creators fly through parts that would upset certain viewers at the same time try to appeal to viewers by giving us fluff which overall is a shallow as you can actually get. Spend a night with a guy, an ex, be domineering arrogant not at all funny, try to be witty but instead insensitive, be loud and arrogant yet be unfair all the while spending hardly any time on work. Have you lived in New York and tried to manage a work load especially with such high demanding jobs? Point blank your bound to want to fast forward and enjoy a little down time - although this goes way way beyond having any actual real story and having any sort of decency or any relevance to work.
Many people just need to swallow their pride it is as simple as that. You want all this ridiculous fantasy type drama in your life. Let’s be perfectly honest this show is disgusting, dismissive, ignorant, shallow and outrageous and I’m only on the third episode. Of course cinematically this is a good watch with all the glamour, the melodramatic music which comes into each scene like it’s a life or death experience, everything is prim, expensive and proper with the scenery just not the personalities of the girls. Plus theres ton of makeup, it’s very obnoxious behaviour even for so called millennials and programmes your mind to desire a rather similar lifestyle.
To work in this kind of life you have to be very very devoted. Being honest the show lacks any kind of decency, you rarely learn something except what cosmopolitan persuades you to watch on how to have confidence when trying to get laid for a little bit to boost your ego. Queue the music - anyone can get low, there are ones we can trust in the universe... erm all she did was discuss a fundraiser and have a girl want to move departments how does that warrant this music? This is state of the art cringe! It lacks any kind of unique quality which stands out from similar viewings and the show not so subtly is cringe after cringe of cheesy innuendoes.
A group of girls aim to draw us in with what they believe is in some sort of sophisticated, cool and acceptable way with success and some added and very tedious egotistical and feministic way. Really it's all about a girls needs and these girls (rather refer then as that as oppose women) show virtually what not to do to get their. Confidence is one thing seriously but this goes very O.T.T. They're shown as somewhat classy fun spontaneous individuals in their own little world of mixed up harmless flirting and after a few minutes full on romance and actually want this to create a spark with its audience. They placed themselves in a position of some importance, speak their minds like it's an advert for the spice girls, they want to explore and build on their experiences at the same time use people. Thrown in is the over hyped LGBTQ plus whatever else just to keep some happy, plenty of sexual innuendos that are tacky and shallow and well they focus way too much on the horrendous dialogue instead of ‘focussing’ on the real story. Flirt, random guy, ex, flirt, lame hopefully inspirational sentences, flirt, tweeting, make a fuss, flirt. That’s about the summary.
