At at the time when it was broadcast in Israel I was a soldier and I used to call my father to make sure he doesn't forget to record it for me. The VHS cassettes might still be somewhere. This series was second to none, well maybe The Singing Detective, comes to mind as well. So to put it more accurately, Dennis Potter is a genius making these grand masterpieces.
