This is one of the best shows ever written or acted. Definitely in my top ten shows. Eva Green is a revelation as the mysterious, tortured Vanessa Ives batting her inner demons(and a whole lotta other monsters). I still can not fathom how she didn't win every award for this role. Makes me think award shows aren't credible and they're fixed or paid off. Billie Piper, Timothy Dalton, Josh Hartnett, Rory Kinnear, Reeve Carney, and Harry Treadwill rounded out this award worthy ensemble. Piper and Kinnear were also outstanding and snubbed come awards season. But definitey binge watch all 27 episodes. Three seasons was too short but it really is like a 27 episode movie. I laughed, i screamed, but mist of all i cried!

Amazing movie. Angelina Jolie plays a smokejumper with ptsd from a failed rescue attemp that claimed the lives of 3 teenagers. She's sort of on a suicide mission and is relegated to a fire tower after failing her psych evaluation. Her ex Evan the Sherriff is newly married with a baby on the way. Two highly connected assasins blow up a DA's house in southern Florida killing him and his family and are on their way to Jacksonville to kill the only other person with vital info that could blow these shady dealings open and implicate congressman, senators and other very important people. Owen the guy in Jacksonville sees the news of the DAs death and flees with his teenage son to the mountains of Montana to get help from his brother-inlaw Evan the Sheriff. It's a race to get to Montana before tje killers. HIGH ACTION THRILLER!!
