This movie is one I am unlikely to watch again anytime soon, that being said, it is still one of my favourite movies to come out from this last half decade. With all the over marketed, highly budgeted movies coming out with excessive CGI and lacklustre plots, this is a refreshing, unsaturated rollercoaster ride. Depending on your perception it can either; feel like a completely far fetched ridiculous plot, or a plot that has never been more relevant than today. I will leave a disclaimer though; if you are looking for a festive, feel good Christmas movie to snuggle up to, this is not it. The mood does feel eratic and all over the place at times, however this feels like masterful direction, as this would most likely be the exact tone of a real situation such as this.
I do think this movie is not for everyone however, and understand why some people did not enjoy it. But if you're a deep thinker and enjoy analysing film, it may be worth the watch.
