I admit that i never watch the show. And here is just my opinion. Taylor swift gone through a lot of hate back then, so, in that what you called a single JOKE about her in the series can hurt HER! And even bring back all the hate she'd experience throughout her career because of that single punchline. Yes, i read most of the reviews are praising this series and i dont need to argue with that but why y'all saying taylor swift is using this for clout like are you serious? She have never used anyone for clout, maybe that series is the one using taylor for clout. Taylor swift made 2 albums in quarantine with a deep and movie-like lyrics and why the writerS of ginny and georgia can't make a single punchline?
