This game will make you angry. It’s very difficult to connect with the main character due to their choices that suffer from a lack of character building that would otherwise make them understandable. The game seeks to waste as much of your time as possible with far too much ‘exploration’ that is tedious but mandatory to ensure equipment and upgrades are sufficient to tackle the excessive hordes between you and every single objective. You will not slow down to admire the scenery after the opening segment because you’ve been playing for four hours and ‘nothing has happened’, the extremely minimal plot progressing at a glacial level. Conversations between multiple characters are often unsatisfying, lack chemistry or occasionally don’t make sense. All of that said: if you like Greek tragedies, and go into this with that mindset and pleeeeenty of free time, you may enjoy the highly predictable story for what it is.
