A waste of time never to be recovered. Only didn’t walk out because of hope there would be a good ending, but the ending was so bad we all left absolutely confused. Beautiful sets and costumes and the acting was good as well. However, the plot just wasn’t there. No climax, no riveting conflict. It was petty high school drama over literally who was the Queen’s favorite. Several odd scenes that added nothing to plot, like the clearly inaccurate and not even funny dance scene or the scene that was way too long of them throwing things at a naked man clutching his junk. It felt like the movie dragged on forever and never picked up. Basically felt like I just watched royals live their daily activities for the whole movie, which is boring.
