After all the failed Anime adaptations with shameful whitewash, blasphemous casting and watered down story, not to forget the aweful production cost, this is, hands down, the best that came out. It is like a fresh breeze with no cost spared. Great casting, awesome production, well done cgi, true core character design, well thought foes with great presence and paced episodes! As an avid One Piece fan, this hits the good notes of the original anime series. I was skeptical about the casting choice of Luffy but not anymore. A young energetic full of positive spirit teenager, set to sail to become the King of pirates by finding the greatest treasure, One Piece—making friends & winning hearts along the way! The original series just hit over 1000th episode (damn!) & this is rushed & short but you'll understand why. I see no other great way to introduce our beloved protagonist to the new young generation & fans. And the first few episode also do hints that with time, this will turn gruesome with 16+ rating like the series. Not to be boiled down for 13 years old! This finally proves, that with right budget and dedicated team who understand and have respect for the source material can make a good anime adaptation! I am excited to see what they do with the big battles! 8/10 — Amazing adaptation !! This should live on!

Does anybody remember Twin Peaks? This is really good! Definitely not for everybody, but if you are into a slow burn, this is for you! A masterfully directed horror! Amazing!!!!!!
