I loved the show of history and the message that despite what we've been told in America. That we as Black men and Black Women are Kings and Queens. That we may have had our culture stollen from us we still have roots. That is something that can not be taken from us. Those roots are something to have pride and embrace. That we are so much more than what America try to say we are not. We have a history that is much older than America and Europe in fact. That we will continue to ride as long and we don't forget where we came from and we never settled what what others say are our limits. That we have the blood of royalty running through our veins. The movie makes you think and I feel that most that has not experience what it is to be a black person in America will miss or fail to understand many of the clues and messages that were NEVER meant for them. It was a powerful positive message to the kids in a time that is filled with hate and fear. So watch it and don't try to understand it. Let the message come to you. If you are meant to get it you will.
