A Hip-Hop equivalent of IN LIVING COLOR, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE and MADTV that should've got more recognition than it received. The idea of a TV sketch comedy that assembles a line up of guest rappers to compliment the activities in every skit was brilliant and a good way to draw in new fans unfamiliar with the art form. This TV show was, not only the first TV show to feature these elements but also the first to feature TRACEE ELLIS ROSS and underground rapper WORDSMITH. It's a shame the show only lasted two seasons. THE LYRICIST LOUNGE SHOW needs to be resurrected
