This movie was an absolute insult to the art of crime, drama and suspense writing. Such a disgrace. It was painful to sit through. I actually fell asleep half way through. I honestly thought it might have been a satirical comedy.

The movie had spectacular effects and capturing the horror of WWI trench warfare was realistic. The idea of the film was indeed brilliant but the creators failed to make be believe that the main character travelled no more than 2 or 3 Kilometres in the entire film. I was quite bored with the ending.
