Solid 8/10, almost 8.5 if there weren't as many bugs and glitches that I encountered during my run. Went for plat, just as ez as last two. Game was much better than the last 2 in terms of story, characters, and gameplay, combat changes were good but still is the same formula as last games. Still has the same radiant-like side activities as the last 2 games with the same exact animations. Would've been nice if they added some variability to these side activities. Gameplay improvements like new combat skills and abilities were nice as well as the new parry feature, but no real innovation in the combat. Game was better than I thought.

Game was very mid. This list doesnt cover half of it. 1 the game is still extremely buggy. Ive walked thru walls a few times, seen visuals pop in and out, the lip synching of cutscenes are way off sometimes, the lightsaber sticking out of cals body when he is escaping from dathomir, it goes on and on 2 the combat was abysmal. Its like a d gn version of gow and dark souls. The parry is very laggy when pressing the button, no im not talking about parry time in difficulty settings. I tested it out on many difficulties. There are some un parryable attacks from enemies that you cant even dodge from, and everything requires the force to use besides the basic attack. 3 the experience system makes literally no sense and the devs thought they did smthn by locking out skills untill certain parts of the game. Because this game tries to copy dark souls, you can level up by farming and resetting. So you can unlock every skill avaliable. And your left over skill points can be used to fully unlock the next set of skills. This wasnt even intentional since i was trying to 100% each area before the end of the game. By the end ive had 10 skill points left over after getting all skills. They should've done what gow did with skills. 4 the loot system is so unrewarding as explained in the video. Literally every chest loot is cosmetic. Never seen a game do this. There is barely any incentive to loot anything. 5. the worst possible thing has to be trying to get back to your ship. Something so small just ruins the entire game for me any clealy many others. Not only that, but trying to go from your ship to a specific area on the map. Just add fast travel, this aint hard. Imagine having to use a yt guide to get back to your ship bc devs dont know how to design levels or add fast travel. 6. small miscellaneous problems, but still very annoying, no animation for bd looting chests underwater and cal somehow talking underwater. Or the rope swinging not working half the time. Or jumping over a gap while sliding not working. And probably more I cant recall now. 7. other gameplay elements like the nonsensical puzzles during the story missions. Whoever designed the puzzles should not touch game development at all. They were so illogical it actually had me lol. 8. the bosses in this game were literally nothing 😂. They werent more difficult than any other enemy. Just more health. I played on normal difficulty and one above it. If this is supposed to be a souls like then this game is an embarrassing attempt at it. The ogdo bogdo was harder than all the bosses combined lmao. 9. the lack of autosaving is such a massive flaw. Even souls game has this. I would have to restart my game sometimes due to getting stuck in a wall or if it crashed. And when i load back in, a good chunk of progress is gone. Had to redo like 20 minutes of progress at one point bc of this. They could have added autosave at some points, like after looting a chest or revealing a secret but still have it so dying brings you back to the meditation point. Literally like dark souls. Just more laziness from the devs. 10. the lack of diversity in enemies per planet made the game very repetitive. There was like 6 enemy mob types per planet. Just more laziness. The game is visually appealing tho and it is STAR WARS sheesh. Literally the only thing going for it, the story was ok.
