It's not startrek anymore, and it feels like they are continously seeking to rewrite it into a trope that holds none of the exploration, science, or moral questions of the past show. That and they write most of the characters as if they are not professional starfleet. Worse is some of the character connections and plot lines feel forced and have huge plot holes. And the cannon of the universe just got shotgunned in the face leaving it piecemeal, it tatters, and without anything resembling the trek of the past. CBS is going to kill trek.
