Brilliantly restrained acting, excellent direction, and knowing where to stop -- all of these, along with -- of course -- the theme and the plot that are so challenging and close to the heart of many Bengalis (and perhaps Indians as well) -- make this a movie definitely worth watching. An explosion of talent. That's Maati. Highly recommended for watching.
