When facing the rewriting of history as one of the major but neglected issues in the movie industry we must learn to read between the lines. Sometimes a good story behind the story emerges and also the characters when they are built with depth and consideration. For all Mankind faces the same problem..but fails the test..almost everyone... The characters, substory - history rewriting as a concept, pretty much great cast and entire idea falls apart almost in the first seconds..but there is no twist or spin or any kind of script quality - just what it is..and it is not much. It seems as character are drowning in the shallowness of the thin concept of the show, altogether with their own personalities, relationships, ideals, and goals..just playing with nonconvincing cards on a plate. Shame. I expected more from this particularly interesting part of history that involves much more themes that when already spoken are expected to bring more light to the story. Unfortunately not...Playing, rewriting and politicization of history today..in- as I mentioned before, movie industry, in particular, is a not enough spoken theme and also too much mistaken for an interesting plot that is just to shallow...by all criteria. Anyway..The Cast was promising, the Plot and the Twist..but it failed. Almost...and only because of the flaws and problems mentioned above. Anyway from time to time is fun
so you can expect portions of that for sure...it just could have been so much better.
