Okay so I’ve played every Assassin’s Creed game from the beginning and I can understand why some might not like this game. If you don’t like the new Assassins Creed style then you probably won’t like this one. However if you like RPGs like me and you love Assassin’s Creed and History then you will love what this game gives you. I’m about 12 hours in and so far this game looks and plays incredible. There’s bugs galore and there’s a problem with trees popping in and out but if you’re like me who can charge through that then you’ll love this game. The raids are fun. The world is absolutely beautiful. The story really isn’t going to blow you away from what I’ve played but the way it’s brought the Assassins and Templars (Hidden Ones and Order of the Ancients) and the hidden blade back into it really feels awesome. And I for one love that they brought back the one hit assassinations back. It really makes it seem like a real assassination. And the main male character Eivor stands out with his incredible Voice acting and performance. The side quests and word events are incredible and the lore is deep. The director Darby really has made Assassins Creed great again. The only knocks I have on this game are the bugs and how long it seems. Don’t get me wrong I love a game that I can log 100+ hours into but not everyone has that much time on their hands so just beware. Other than that it’s a great game and you really should try it out.
