A few thought the "new football game" performance demo Konami realeased was just a simple online tester and when the new PES (efootball came out, it would be a completely different game" Why not, they had taken a year out to work on this new game and convinced loyal followers into paying for a pes2021 "season update" Then came the realisation that Konami were just taking the smeg. There was no PES2022 on the way, they had decided to make PES "efootball" and free to play.... Free to play, I love the idea and understand Konami's need to change direction because of EA/FIFA and the amount of money they were making from microtransactions. The first sign of trouble was also sign posted a few weeks ago when Konami released the first DLC for efootball. £34.99 for a player pack realllyyy; the game (cough cough demo) hadn't even been released and the contents can't be used until November.....lol. I cry for all the idiots who pre-ordered that. Which leads me to this. I played this yesterday; I played it a lot yesterday, out of hope mainly that there was something good about it.. 2yrs remember to develop, no way can it be this bad; maybe this is Konami's version of Aprils fool. What are Konami smoking!!!! Based on there Marketing to date, they actually put this game out thinking it was the best since sliced bread. OMG. This looks like it was made in someones bedroom. The game has regressed massively. Graphics are awful; gameplay has potential but absolutely gob$**** at the moment; Tactics (or lack of), it all looks a lot like a game made for simpletons; a game made for the mobile market; plain and simple; This is UNREAL and I am going to wake up and find out that this was just in my dreams and PES2022 is actuallly coming and is going to be brilliant... I live in hope.
