In all honesty, I really did like the movie. For some fans of it I know, they didn't really like the ending, which is sort of understandable if you read the book's ending. The fans I know that didn't like the ending said it was because of the lack of closure. For me, I can understand where they are coming from, but if you think about it from a storyteller point of view, the ending allows the watcher to interpret the later events in their own way, and also leaves room for a sequel if Justin Baldoni wants to make a sequel. For me, I loved the movie not only because of Cole Sprouse, but because of the way they present Cystic Fibrosis. Not a whole lot of teens I know have CF, or know what CF is, and Five Feet Apart did a great job of portraying it accurately. The acting was on point too. Even though I will say that some small moments were a teensy bit cliché, those parts just made the movie better for me. All in all, 10 out of 10 would watch, and I love the actors in the movie too <3
