I really wished they developed the romance between Patrick Stewart and Anton Yelchin. The sexual tension was there, just needed to focus less on the scenes with the dogs and more on their budding passion. I love dogs and will never complain about scenes with dogs but... the raw chemistry between the two was so compelling I really wanted them to explore it. Maybe down in the green room. Deep hues of green mixing with the faint yellow from their bare skin. Ah well. If the movie was in the hands of a more capable writing team it might have been a compelling romantic thriller instead of a gore fest lacking all minutiae of lusty throbs :(
