David Blackhall

I was pleased when I heard that the BBC where doing a version of H.G.Wells The War of the Worlds going back to period which it was originally set in. However why was the woman Amy (played by Eleanor Tomlinson) was the hero & her husband George (played by Safe Spall) was a bit of a wimp. They didn't act terrified that they being invaded by Martians from another planet just seemed to take it in there stride. I felt let down by this 3 part drama which I thought would of been great.
