Way too cliche, and absolutely zero chemistry between the 2 lead actors. Having been to Vietnam I did enjoy revisiting some of the sights, but I could have done this with a doco. Neither romantic nor funny. And please, when did the Vietnamese EVER ride their scooters so slowly. Not a hideous movie, but not great.

OMG, I'm obviously going against the majority here, but this movie was woeful!! I'm a big fan of British rom-coms, and feel good Christmas movies, but this is the first time I've walked out of a movie before it was finished. The only times I laughed, was really just at how dreadful and cringeworthy it was. Nothing wrong with the storyline..just very badly done. Acting was wooden, almost forced. Nothing seemed natural. Emelia Clarke needs to stick to riding dragons and breakings chains. She is not a natural for this type of role at all. So damn cheesy, it was sickening. Emma Thompson, who I love, could not save this movie with her part in it, and disappointed to learn it was her screenplay. So disappointed. Oh, the best thing.... George Michael's songs. This is the first time I have ever felt compelled to write a movie review. Just sayin'.
