Zeytin Ağacı is a Turkish tv series, Tuba Büyüküstün (Ada) is the lead actress along with her two of her closest friends (Leyla and sevgi), it might appear very feminist at the start considering the intimate conversation the girls have about their private affairs. Tuba is stunning actress par excellence, her role in this tv series has matured a lot. From Gülizar (2004), Aşk Yolu (2006), ... Kara Para Aşk (English: Black Money Love, 2015), ...Zeytin Ağacı(2022-2024). The main theme of Zeytin Ağacı is to trace the ancestral roots to the problem each and every one face. Ada is sad with estranged relationship: divorce, breakup... unfulfilled progeny,... unmaturing relationship ,marriage, family, kids... trace her roots to her problems her father lived a double life... having an illicit relationship with a woman. Leyla has a criminal, unsteady... husband and two kids... Sevgi is suffering from Cancer and tracing her relationship problem is due to early death of her father before she was born... This is an interesting TV series on an unusual subject i.e. Transmigration with subtle influence from india, one can see in the therapeutic session... It has 2 season, the ending has left many unanswered questions? It could have been done much better. That is why 4 ⭐. Otherwise, Turkish Film and TV series are emerging as an alternative to the usual dominant American film and TV series, with excellent location like in this tv series, Crete island and amazing homes and restaurants... Picturesque location in a semi rural environment. Though it is rated as A, there is no explicit sex content like you see in European or American series.

I watched complete series 164 episode, it is a romantic crime story centred around Elif and Omar.... like Laila Majnu, Tristan and Isolde, Romeo and Juliet... The key focus of the series is the poignant eye of Tuba Büyüküstün (Elif), Engin Akyürek (Omar) calls it Forest ... Tuba Büyüküstün is the best &Top Turkish actress par excellence for her role in film Gülizar. It will certainly be appealing to watch for Middle Eastern, Central Asia, South Asia audiance as well as East European, North Africa and Mediterranean countries. Turkish Television series and movies are the soft power of the Arab world. It is easy to understand Turkish language and culture, the language has several arabic and Persian words like: قاتل, istifa, teşekkürler, adalet, Aşk, kabul etmek, aldatmak, masum, dost & düşman, Damat, sharab, jawab....And Turkish culture is similar to South Asian culture, even though they are not aware of it... however, it is much closer to Mediterranean culture and gels very well in terms of cousin and lifestyle... with strong islamic influence. It is a love story of a super rich girl and a police officer i.e. our Elif and Omar , who are the protagonist of the story, Black money is the pretext and nobody knows where are the diamonds? The story circles around at Police station, crime scene, Hospital...Home. And there are lot of cat and mouse chasing.... scene. I must appreciate Turkish Television and Movies providing us much better cinema experience than our junk Bollywood, where the formula is known before the start of the story with same old characters. Though Turkish Television series and movies has America Hollywood influence, it is unique. I hope it comes out as an alternative to Hollywood, Bollywood and European cinema.
