The movie overall was alright, I think the casting could have been better for violet and Theodore. Also I’m super confused like how did they JUST leave OUT HIS DAD AND HIS STEP MOM/ BROTHER AND MOM AND SISTER WHAT THE ??? THEY'RE IMPORTANT TO THE STORY Theodore Finch was a bad boy who doesn’t really know who he is in the book which is basically part of his whole character and is completely overlooked in the movie other than like a brief scene. I am super upset because the book is AMAZING and the movie did NOT live up to it. There are so many small details that could have easily been added in to the movie that weren’t. And the VERY significant places they go in the book are changed in the movie which is frustrating. I personally hate when books are turned into movies because they always ruin it BUT it wasn't all terrible and if I hadn’t read the book then I probably would have liked the movie.
