Ye movie maine hagte hue dekhi, fast forward karke. Mera hagga zada tha, is movie mein bhi Kam nhi tha. Jitna sukoon mere hugge se mere pet ko mila, utna torture inke hugge ne dimaag ko kiya. But anyways, I was happy in the end because mere hugge mein itti smell nhi thi jitti inke hugge mein overacting thi. Hum dono ke hugge-hugge mein movie khatam ho gyi, Pata chala. Aur Paise b Bach gye. Ps: is movie ke jaise mere pet se bhi 1 super hagga (like Akki), 1 furtila hagga aur ek badi moti landi nikli.. Fir unke upar maine moot diya.

I wish I could 0 stars to this movie Google is quite generous. From dialogs to screenplay, there seems no expertise, as if it has been made by some noobs, who just wanted to have fun by themselves. I am dismayed to see such a star cast agreed to do this movie (except Ali Zafar who just did a cameo in the end). The movie is 'choochiya' and I would highly recommend to skip it and save few hours of your life.

Watching Panchayat is like living a dream, a dream that is not usual like travelling places, fighting monsters etc, but one that soothes your soul and fulfils your mind. It's like relishing a great dish and then feeling its taste for next many days without eating it again, remembering each bite you took. An ensemble caste of great actors like Raghubir Yadav, Nena Gupta, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy & Jitendra Kumar keep you engaged throughout the series so much that you feel you're part of their village/family. For example, a scene where these 4 male characters are drinking beer outside panchayat office, with chilly paneer reheated over Desi bonfire would make you feel you're the 5th one among them (or so you may wish). Such scenes would make you smile with teary eyes and overwhelmed heart. Thank you TVF and the whole team behind this superb series.

This 1 star is for the backdrop of the movie that seems very interesting. The movie could've done wonders if it had good cinematography, direction, acting and visuals. As usual, Akshay Kumar is portraying his role as 'king of all trades' - an archeologist who can run like a soldier, can dive like a marine, can lift a heavy stone like hulk, can fly like eagle, can become some God... (That was too much). In short, his role (and acting) is exaggerated (= over acting). I shut this movie after 30 minutes of torture. It is better to read about such expeditions (real ones) and watch scientific documentaries. Everything except the subject of this movie is sham and not worth watching. You can easily skip it and not regret.

If there is any word that describes something bad than worse, then I would rate this movie with it. Injustice to the original version, because of pathetic acting, screenplay and songs. My parents would watch a comedy (even illogical ones) just for the sake of entertainment, but they got so bore, that they left it in 30 minutes. I had to bear the onus of watching it. Do not waste time or money to watch it, better re-watch the original one.
