This morning I again witnessed. What I feel is unjustified discrimination against one of our Louisville, Ky leaders. Today’s interview was Gail a King with the President of our Police Union. The previous interview was with ours Mayor. In both instances I feel strongly that Gail King’s questions and demeanor indicate her personal views on the Brianna Taylor case. Our City is struggling with what is justice in this case. We do not need anyone indicating their personal views that justice was not served. It divides us further and is and harmful to our healing. The implications are obvious that Gail feels like the people involved have not been honest or fair to this matter. I am sincerely sorry that this tragedy occurred. Please do not add fuel to the fire of perceived racial injustice here. We do not need that. I almost posted my thoughts on this after Louisville Mayor Fischer was interviewed. After watching this morning’s show I wish I had.
