A heartbreaking movie, and oddly comic at times, the movie will make some wonder if they have the capacity to forgive their foes, and if not, then ask what it says about them as human beings. The characters, most of which are civilians, are not people who made major decisions regarding the War and were, quite often, not given a voice in deciding whether they should participate in the War or not. It's deeply moving to be able to gaze into the simple, everyday lives of these innocent civilians.
