I’m glad to see so many people enjoying Helldivers 2. It is an awesome game and it certainly deserves the praise it’s currently receiving… except… the game is EXACTLY what it was in Helldivers 1. To the Tee. The progression, the gameplay loop, the weapons the stratagems, hell even the diving and crawling., it’s the exact same game but in 3rd person. Dont get me wrong, it’s totally awesome, it’s gorgeous, it’s hilarious, but for someone who played the original an extensive amount, idk I kinda was hoping for more. I wanted new gameplay elements, a story, more in depth upgrades. Something that I haven’t already done in Helldivers. I’m currently about 20 hours in, so maybe there’s more I haven’t seen yet. But from what I can tell, it’s Helldivers 1 Remastered. And once the novelty wears off for all the people who are new to the series, they too may begin to feel the need for more.

I just finished TLOU2, and I can say with confidence, that all the people whining about this game have no idea what a Bad game is really like. Did I love it as much as the first? No, actually I didn’t. There were a few things I would have liked to be different, especially the ending, but the amount of hate this game is receiving is totally unwarranted. What do people expect, if the game isn’t 100% exactly what they wanted they give it a 1/10? Please. I’ve been gaming for over 3 decades and I can assure you, this game was pretty damn decent. Visually gorgeous, and solid gameplay, in fact the exact same formula and style of progression as the first. The whole thing with Lev and the obvious lgbt plug I could have done without. Otherwise I think they did fine. I’d give it a solid 8/10. Some Really awesome action sequences that I won’t soon forget, and some quiet, memorable moments. Don’t listen to these spoiled “gamers” giving these Uber low scores, half of them probably didn’t even play it through. Looking forward to TLOU 3. Just please, next time leave the political overtones out of it.
