It was eh, it doesn't really have any of the magic the Monster Hunter world has. I was surprised with how easily the main protagonist adjust, she went two to two with monsters and even hunters. It made her feel super human and the actual hunter seem not as much. I expected more of an in-depth explanation of their world, since this movie is marketing off of the monster hunter world. There wasn't much of that. They just threw in little things from the game here and there and kept moving. I didn't mind the plot, but the pacing felt very off. I couldn't tell what or when things were happening, the sequencing just didn't fit right with the story. It's like they stuck all this stuff together, threw it in our faces, and said "enjoy". These no real flow at all, and that's crucial when your are making an adaptation of something with a huge following. You guys blew it and I was barely intrigued, there wasn't anything special about this movie.
