They tried way too hard in the wrong areas. You will constantly be thinking “JUST KILL THEM ALREADY!” Yes there’s a lot of blood but the violence is pretty tame in this movie. I was expecting to feel my stomach turn and want to turn my head at some points but nothing like that is in the movie. The demon has a lot of dialogue! It feels like the demon has every chance to kill these people but instead takes every opportunity to talk or just be still and creepy to let people scream and run away. Trailer was great but the movie was very disappointing. I’d give it a 5/10 if you’re paying money to see it.

This movie is pretty bad. The pacing is very chaotic, the acting is pretty corny and awkward, and it really feels held back due to it not being able to show very much “Carnage” due to the movie not being rated R. If you’re a casual viewer who hasn’t done any research on venom, the movie will not provide you with very much of an explanation for any of your confusion throughout the film. Yes it’s new, but they could’ve pumped money into a project that expanded on the Star Wars universe. Star wars usually carries its own essence through accumulation of inspirations from different cultures while also having its own identity to make up its own universe. This show doesn’t expand upon the star wars universe but instead feels like it pulls way too hard directly from Japanese culture to the point where it takes you out of the Star Wars verse and back into the real world. It’s like Disney just saw that anime is very big and Star Wars is big, so they put them together for a recipe for revenue. I feel like if you absolutely loved this show, you have a biased love for anything with the name Star Wars on it.

Everything is solid but the combat leaves some things to be desired. Love the idea of being able to target an enemies weak spot to set them up for an instant finisher however, the finisher for each enemy type is the same each time. It takes skill to be able to do it and because of that, it’s rewarding but when you do the same finishing animation 3 times in a row every encounter it gets old really fast. If your final blow is a heavy attack, your enemy will fly like 20 feet away which is really silly. Would’ve preferred a variety of different finishing animations for landing a final blow with a heavy attack. After this many assassins creeds, combat system should be a masterpiece by now.

ACCURATE REVIEW RIGHT HERE! This is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen, DO NOT listen to the reviews that are saying anything other than how bad this movie is. The concept of the movie is interesting. The acting will make you cringe, the dialogue is sounds like it was first attempt written by a high school student trying out a film class. The two main characters are so unbelievably stupid that it’s borderline unrealistic. Do not waste your time. Something is literally wrong with the people who gave this movie a good review.
