The story is set in Colombia in a town where a certain family is gifted with a miracle. Except for Mirabel. She doesn't have any gifts and wears glasses, and if you could call her a Disney princess, she'd be the first one of them to wear glasses, which in my opinion, is a huge improvement. Encanto was captivating and fun to watch, but the writers of this movie missed an extremely crucial point. While the songs were amazing, such as 'We don't talk about Bruno', and the characters well developed, there's basically no plot in the story. The main character doesn't even get out of the house. The story's ending felt hastily made. The movie was still amazing and well-animated. It had lots of potential, but the writers didn't do anything interesting with the characters' powers.
