We took our 7 and 9 year old kids to this movie based on the many reviews and previews that highlighted the fun and humor and cute “becoming a superhero” storyline. However, the seven deadly sins statues that “come to life” terrified my kids with the grotesque nature of their attacks and “every kids worst nightmare” glowing red eyes. We left probably at the 30 minute mark, maybe a little more. The movie looks good and my husband and I will go on our own, but if this is what meets the standard of the film industry for “appropriate for 7-9 year olds”, it certainly didn’t meet ours.
