Gene Pregal

This book was advertised to me as a history book on mankind and I don’t believe it fits that title. Early humans get a small mention and then the book focuses mainly on the last few thousand years or so. This would have been fine but the author creeps a large amount of his own ideals and bias into the book. I was expecting it to be purely factual and this was disappointing. Apart from that, there is good parts of the book which I found to be provocative but overall I wouldn’t recommend to a friend.
