Great Western with a classic cast of top grade actors. Hackman,Freeman, Eastwood. All will be looked back on with the same reverence bestowed apron Gary Cooper, Henry Fonda and the Duke - John Wayne . Eastwood never lets his audience down. Many people I know regard Unforgiven as the text book western. If you want an example of the raw nature of early American settlers and the lawless gun fighters that lived along side them then this is the movie that makes it all so real. Actually watched it again last night.That makes six times since I first saw it at the cinema.
