While the show starts off with dark and funny humor, it quickly fades away within the first few episodes. The main character is unlikeable while being surrounded by more interesting characters, the Malcolm in the Middle 4th wall breaking that was funny in the first couple of episodes falls to just narrating in the later episodes, and after the final episode, we are left with questions the show sets up but never get answered. Speaking of which, the ending twist (which I won't spoil) is both confusing and disappointing. The kind that makes you scream "What the heck?!"
I say skip this one. It's a show made by teenagers (metaphorically) for teenagers and I'm glad it's canceled. Some people may disagree with me, but I think those are the same people who are looking for something interesting among the sea of dullness that is Netflix.
