There were some obvious hiccups in the storyline BUT overall, it was a beautiful story of love, determination and the bonds that tie people together as family beyond bloodline. I highly recommend viewing.

I read the bad reviews and I read the good reviews. And, I agree with the bad reviews. The movie was not exciting and if there was a story plot, it was left on the cutting room floor.

The characters Alex and Leslie-Ann play are not the characters they play in their series. In Heartlock, they are normal people caught up in a forbidden love-story. The story line is weak and somewhat predicable, but the actors did a good enough job to keep me watching to the end.
