Why couldn't the residents of the swampy coast find a city closer than Asheville for attending affairs? Maybe they should subscribe to the Raleigh News and Observer rather than the Raleigh Herald for suggestions. Small details, but a book so carefully written about the mating of insects should be careful about geography, too Other than that, it is a very good book.
