I LOVED IT. So many opinions on this film. But I think there is way too many opinions on this film from people who have not even seen it. I’m a conservative Christian however, I did not find this ‘woke’ at all if that is your concern. I found it reminded me of my connection to the original and it had beautiful morals. I love Disney and I loved that they didn’t add anything that would change the original story!!! If people become too hard before even watching movie we will loose important moral stories like Snow White. It was beautifully done. If you loved Disney growing up and want children’s movies with morals in them again, go watch it! Ignore the noise. Hateful people are often the loudest! Would 100% recommend 🥰

Story line was convoluted. If feminism was the topic for the movie then it should have been integrated into the story of barbies owners- instead was very unclear. No resolution with other characters, only personal resolution which is fairly warped ethically. Liked the first 10 minutes and the last 5- Billy’s song was phenomenal. Acting was good but yeah the story wasn’t there and I thought that they only went into feminism superficially through angry lectures on the topic, instead of connection/ resolution with others. This movie should have been a feel good story however, was a ‘nothing’ kind of story and didn’t get the core of what they were aiming to achieve with feminism. Instead only displayed it in frame of anger. I wished I liked it.
