Weak adaption of this great classic. Fails at its attempt of making a 21st century version.. A lot of under and over acting, and renewed plot is verging on a CBBC Crackerjack level. A shame, could have been an interestng twist on a well loved Dickens story. Good cast not used to their optimum.

Terrible flop of a film. Alec Baldwin at least attempts to not take himself too seriously. The plot is weak, with clumsy attempts at literary references and oh so predictable. The ending is atrocious. I was waiting during the whole film for it to pick up tempo and perhaps have a twist at least at the end.
