This is what happens when people underestimate comedy. It is a tough genre and sad to say, I hated this movie as much as I loved Lucifer. The houses looked like greenhouses ( I mean who is maintaining all those plants- I can’t manage the 2 I have lol) and the over used jokes, that’s just lazy writing. Monhanlal seems to be having a mid life crisis choosing these kind of scripts! The plot itself didn’t make any sense. I do appreciate the attempt to normalize and take the society forward in terms of live in relationships and children out of wedlock. Truly helps create a safe space especially for girls, but the way it was done could have been better. Of course, the story seems to revolve in a universe where everyone is rich , so what do I know! It was such a drag that I had to space it out over a 3 day period, and still felt like a crawl. If you don’t have anything else to do and need to watch any kind of nonsense, please go ahead! And one last thing, as a Bangalore malayali, no we cannot afford a house like that working in IT ( I don’t know about advertising folks) and we clearly don’t dress like that to work! Just saying so future bangaloreans don’t get any wrong idea about the reality! I am giving 2 stars just for the attempt at comedy! When we watch those wonderful comedians of the past - people forget to acknowledge the talent and the skill of a director to get it executed. This movie is everyone a comedy should not be!
