Good: long and yes, it would have been much better if editing had removed some really redundant pieces: why was the song so long and nothing happens. There is one girl: wow, in a dress and drinking down the shaken not stirred martini, she provides some of the old Bond magic. Acting wise, it is sadly lacking. its a James Bond but unlike any Bond movies recently (or any time) seem. All the women are so somber and we, the old people, who remembered Ursula Andress, just looked. Still a Bond movie is worth watching

Oh, my god! Is this Perry Mason, Della Street? Let us first decide on what Perry Mason is, or rather was. Not a guy with mustard on his tie and stealing one from the morgue. And owning a farm? I have no idea whose idea was to revive Perry Mason. But this screenplay with its plethora of f-words and gratuitous nudity, is certainly not Perry. Why oh why HBO had to drag the name, not just a name, an institution through the dirty world of 1932. Why not take Hammet or Chandler or many other, or even chose a different name. You know, the reason people flock to see or hear a particular show is because of association with an image. I wouldn't have minded this show being called something else, at least not kill the image of the great lawyer/detective. Not for me, or for people who love Perry Mason!
