The Best of Enemies was a great movie. It was touching and poignant with a touch of humor at times. I was immediately drawn in from the beginning to the end and literally had tears in my eyes at the end. Taraji P. Henson & Sam Rockwell did a great job with their performances. Their characters realized they had more in common than they thought; Struggles, poverty family dynamics, love and genuine care for people. The bond between the two set about changes in their lives which I’m sure wasn’t easy especially during those times. I throughly enjoyed the movie so much so, I plan on reading the book to learn more about this part of history. I highly recommend the movie.
