Too long. Not sure how something so visually stunning can be so boring at times. Pacing could be better. Spend less on CGI & more on dialog. Initial premises & references to previous movie were inadequate. If the Navi drove the earthlings away years ago, how did they re-establish such a massive presence. It is hard to tell all the Navi people apart—exhausting trying to keep the characters straight. Whaling & ambergris seem like a cheap plot line. What happened to the mining?? The bad guys are very one dimensional. Echos of Titanic sinking are another repetitive theme. Cameron is my favorite director & I expected better.

Great movie about the folk rock movement in the late 1960's. The Joan Baez and Bob Dylan duet is worth the time all by itself. Amazing jug band.
