Christine Dowd

This is a beautifully crafted novel, rich in metaphor and simply stunning writing. I loved it for many reasons. It is a page-turner and wonderful read for middle graders. This is a book with heart. Crow's story is touching and watching her unravel the mysteries of her past, exciting. I highly praise Lauren Wolk for this wonderful story and recommend it highly.
