I cannot emphasise enough on how little we enjoyed this one. The acting was bad. The reactions of some characters felt out of place and too casual, considering what was happening around them. The little girl's acting steals the show.

Loved this one. Loved the way Shinichi's character is fleshed out (see what I did there?) Like any great anime, the writers really considered to incorporate a decent level of psychological and philosophical nuance to drive the characters forward. It has some weak points to, but those didn't stop it from being thoroughly enjoyable. Stirred me emotionally here and there, leading me to nearly cry once. Ooof. Wish I could watch it for the first time again. :') The music was cool too. Ugh, interesting cool nice stuff there.

Absolutely loved it. A complete pleasure to watch. The camera work did feel very 2016-esque, but otherwise everything was brilliant. Brilliant. Agatha Van Helsing stole my heart. :)

Loved it. First movie in months that I was able to really enjoy. Quite nuanced. Loved the struggle it showed on the semiotics department, although I think it was rushed through to find a convenient understanding/communication, which could have bee dealt with better. Amy Adams killed it, as usual. Very refreshing, very interesting.

Such an artful film. Ji Chang-wook was captivating as usual. Loved how the character arc evolves, love the humour encapsulated in it. The mockumentary format is also worthy of appreciation. One of my favourites.

A seamless amalgam of genres. While the initial moments in the show made me check for the reviews to see if continuing was really worth it, the rave reviews made complete sense as I proceeded. It is charming and gripping. It wants you to empathize with its characters till the very end. One of my favourites.

It was honestly better than what I had expected. Very refreshing, very warming, very sweet. Loved the performances by pretty much everybody. <3

Beautiful. Phenomenal. Gripping. Breathtaking. Funny. Adorable. Kim Go Eun is so, so cute. I loved her performance in The King, but she completely took my heart away with this one. So cute. I also liked the interpolation of the past life narrative. I only felt uneasy with the age gap between a Goblin who has been around 30 for over 900 years and a 19 y/o girl, but their performance was swoonworthy. Ah. Loved it to bits. :))

Absolutely loved it, more than I thought I would. The lead actors are wonderful and charming. They know how to make their audience empathise - I found my eyes welling up as they were crying, I was smiling as they were smiling. Such great performance. Loved Jennifer, Chan, and his friends. *Spoiler alert* Loved the redemption arc with Director Kim, and also the way different narrative points were beautifully tackled towards the end. One of my top favourite K-Dramas now. <3
