Look, it’s definitely one of the movies of all time. Good villain… some jokes aren’t meant to be jokes and they’re funny, like MODOK who looks like Mr Electric from Shark Boy and Lava Girl, but I mean It’s not terrible, it keeps you somewhat engaged, you aren’t looking at your watch the whole time or anything, it does absolutely nothing for Antman’s life, nothing affects him at all and the whole movie just sets up other movies, that’s all any Marvel movies do these days. To put it simply, it’s better than Eternals but that’s a low bar.

The film looks amazing. The graphics are stunning and Pandora looks gorgeous. Everything else falls flat. The plot is the EXACT SAME as the first down to the characters. Don’t know how to write a new villain? Eh, let’s just make it the same as the last villain even though he died. Don’t know how to write new side characters? Eh, just bring back the other one that died. The plot is “oh no! humans! Better leave our current base/home and make do somewhere new. Oh look, we have to adapt to fit in at this new location and have to understand how everything works allowing us to show just how much of the budget went into CGI and not the writing. Ahh! The humans found us and are trying to kill us! Well at least we can all fight them as a big new tribe that we met at the start of the movie, damn one of us died, we will rebuild, the end. Also the kids are all the same and annoying because they never learn, keep doing the wrong thing and getting caught. I genuinely couldn’t tell the brothers apart. Aight that’s all. Avatar: The way of Water is an extremely long example of what technology can do with the plot quality of a adult film

I'd say 50% or more of the 1 star reviews are actually 5 star reviews, read them If you don't believe me. Never played the game (until after the show) never knew any of the characters so I could only tell which ones were in the game by either their importance to the show or their outrageously beautiful design that only a game would show them looking. Loved the story, loved the contrast in characters and sister dynamic, absolutely soul crushing 3rd or 4th episode (whatever episode **SPOILER ALERT** everyone that had been built up as main characters died) can't wait for season 2

It's easy to watch, solid movie. ngl the negative reviews on this movie are hilarious, but they don't really breakdown why they hated it, there's just a woman down there complaining that it mentioned her god... which it didn't specifically? But it's just a joke anyway chill. A lot of references, some are good, some outdated, some not to my liking. I'm sure many will cringe at the slight Fortnite reference, but hey, it pleases every audience I'd say and there are some solid laughs. Captain America joke cracked me up, along with the starwars joke. Gotta love Ryan Reynolds Would've loved to see more of the stuff you get from games, maybe a glitch or something? But overall great. Maybe too many references would've made it very Ready Player One-ish (which was a pretty good movie too don't get me wrong) but ehh, off track. Great movie, would watch again.
