Brilliant show. Episodes 1 and 2 were, uh, a little boring, but after that, I was HOOKED. From episode 3 in which Vision's dead body was seen, to episode 9 where Wanda became the Scarlet Witch, I absolutely loved this show. A masterpiece. I watched the trailer, wasn't so hooked, but now...don't ask. I love it way too much. A lot like an 'unhealthy obsession' kind of too much. I've watched Marvel movies before and I'm a big fan, but now, I'm an even bigger fan of Marvel. :)
One thing I love about this show is that it stays true to all the sitcoms in the 20th & 21st Century. No one can pull that off so easily! It was chock-full of clever easter eggs and plot twists. Love it!
Another thing I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE about this show is that the characters were so memorable and had amazing character development! From Wanda to Agatha to Monica, everyone had amazing personalities. The villain, Tyler Hayward, was so evil that I couldn't forgive him and I still remember him. It was literally THAT good.
Lizzie Olsen, Paul Bettany, and the rest of the cast, were needless to say, awesome! I'd like to give Lizzie some extra credit though, because she pulled the whole thing off by acting like actors from the late 20th and early 21st Centuries! That is such a tough thing to do! I really appreciate her for this. BTW, Lizzie is now one of my favorite actors.
Another heart: the songs. The songs, the songs, the songs. Who could forget "Agatha All Along"?! It was so catchy and was in the hot 100 of the billboard songs, as far as I remember (props to Kristen and Robert Lopez for amazing songwriting)! The other songs were amazing too, even the one from the trailer!
Ah, the villains (even the heroes were awesome too though, but the villains are worth a mention because I've talked about the heroes too much). Agatha Harkness and Tyler Hayward were very memorable, especially Agatha! Kathryn Hahn stole the show. She was meant for that role. I fell in love with Agatha "Agnes" Harkness, ever since the beginning!
The finale was utterly satisfying, and the dialogues are so quotable. Remember "Thanks for the lesson. But I don't need you to tell me who I am"? So badass! Even the costume for Wanda was much better. It totally highlighted her strong personality.
Wanda didn't get enough attention before, so I'm happy she's getting the attention she deserves now! She has always been one of my favorites (my faves are Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Iron Man, Yelena Belova and Loki)! She's also a much more fleshed-out character in this, so I'm happy with this too!
Every episode was beautifully crafted. Props to every hardworking person who worked on this gem of a show. 💖
In conclusion, this show was a complete gem, as I said before. Marvel's best show up till date. The others were a total "meh" (except for "What If...?", which was sliiiightly better), but this show...I have no words. It's just too good. Totally worth a re-watch.
I have a lot more good things to say about this show, but I don't think they'll fit in this text box, so I'll just end my "WandaVision is the best" rant here.
P.S: My favorite episode was Episode 9! However, I love the others too.
