In a previous life I was a wanna be lower level race car driver so I was just as interested in the technical side as the "entertainment side". My wife bought the book and read it and handed it to me and said "read this". After 20 pages I threw it in the corner...Dog Book. Then after a bit I went back and read it cover to cover...Twice. When they noted that the film was in production I feared that making it into a movie would, as usual , screw up a good thing. Surprise, it WAS the book on film and it works and is still GREAT. Perhaps I like it because of my racing background, and we have had dogs always. But I do not think so. It is because it is great entertainment. GO SEE IT.....great for the family too.
