i never post book reviews of any sort, but this book, i just had to. I had previously ventured into Murakami's bizarre but vivid work and had not thought very much of it.
'Kitchen' is a masterpiece, which is filled with the most gorgeous and transcending imagery I've ever read in a book; it sets the scene and invites you to come sit and enjoy it. It grips your feelings in its fist but asks you to gently feel the protagonist's emotions.

It's essentially a book about grief and how it takes hold of lives and leaves its traces in every elongated and painful second. I've never read anything with such a dreamy, ethereal pulchritude.
MUST READ.
